**Senior Bond Trader**
Cazadores Investments Limited is a London-based FCA-regulated asset manager running fixed income and macro strategies across global markets. We are seeking a motivated Junior/Assistant Bond Trader to support our portfolio management and trade execution operations.
**The Role**
Working directly alongside a senior portfolio manager, you will assist in the day-to-day execution and operational management of fixed income trading activity across government bonds, rates, and credit instruments. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one, suited to a candidate looking to develop a career in macro fixed income trading.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assisting with the execution of fixed income trades across government bonds, rates, and credit markets via Bloomberg and electronic trading platforms
- Managing trade booking, settlement instructions, and post-trade reconciliation across custodians and prime brokers (including Euroclear, DTC, and Fedwire workflows)
- Maintaining accurate internal trade records and position logs
- Liaising with counterparties and brokers on settlement, confirmations, and trade queries
- Supporting portfolio monitoring, position reporting, and risk tracking
- Assisting with KYC/onboarding documentation for new counterparties
**Requirements**
- Degree-educated, ideally in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a fixed income trading or portfolio management role
- Proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal is essential
- Strong Excel skills; experience with trade processing workflows preferred
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive work ethic
- English fluency required; additional languages advantageous, in particular German
