About the Role
Quad Core Pty. Ltd. is the fast-growing software development company behind the unique e-receipt platform, 1receipt. As we expand our commercial enterprise reach, we are looking for a sharp, driven Junior Business Development Representative to actively source new custom software engineering and IT development projects from scratch.
Working directly alongside the Founder & CEO, this is a high-velocity role where you will map out local industries, identify operational bottlenecks in small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), and pitch our custom technical development and software engineering solutions.
What You Will Do
- Frontline Hunting: Utilise digital channels (LinkedIn, Google Maps, online directories) and local networking events to discover target prospects.
- Pipeline Management: Own the end-to-end sales cycle from initial cold outreach and lead generation to contract closure.
- Consultative Pitching: Engage directly with Australian small business founders and executives, unearthing their operational pain points and aligning them with our software capabilities.
What We Are Looking For
- Flawless Communication: Native English proficiency with the confidence to navigate complex, corporate B2B discussions.
- Outbound Hustle: Proven drive to actively network and conduct cold outreach—you are tenacious, conversational, and solution-oriented rather than aggressive.
- Business Acumen: Ability to quickly understand how data and software workflows impact a business's bottom line (a background in Business Analytics, Commerce, or tech sales is a major plus).
- Workforce Australia Eligibility: This position is uniquely funded in partnership with employment initiatives. To be considered, you must be currently registered and active with a Workforce Australia or Transition to Work provider, making you eligible for the Government Wage Subsidy program upon placement.
