We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Lead, Library Services & Digital Scholarship to join our team at ALU in Rwanda.
At ALU, we approach education from first principles. We are looking for someone to completely re-imagine the traditional library ecosystem for a progressive, distributed university network.
Sitting at the intersection of information science, instructional design, and digital innovation, this role will architect a forward-looking digital literacy framework and connect our community to an incredibly rich set of open-source, digital, and AI tools.
What we want:
- A degree in Library & Information Science, Knowledge Management, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in an academic, research, or corporate library setting.
- Deep technical proficiency with LMS, digital asset management, and research data tools (SPSS, NVivo, etc.).
- A startup mindset—agile, creative, and passionate about mission-driven learning.
