LEGAL ASSISTANT FOR PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP
Besins Healthcare is seeking a Legal Assistant to support its Legal Department. The Legal Assistant is responsible for helping with the planning, execution, completion, and maintenance of the Legal Department’s projects, execution of documents, process improvements and update of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool. The Legal Assistant tracks project completion and operations issues and informs the General Counsel on the status of these projects/issues

Corporate Governance & Entity Manageme
- ntAdministrative Support: Supports the General Counsel and legal counsels on corporate governance, domestic/foreign entity registrations, and company resolution
- s.Legal Formalities: Handles routine corporate filings with government entities and manages the maintenance/renewal of business license
- s.Grants of Authority: Manages the issuance and tracking of Powers of Attorney and Grants of Authorit
- y.Treasury Liaison: Acts as the interface with the Treasury department for providing KYC documentation to non-banking institution

Ed
- ucationBachelor’s degree: 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or corporate paralegal with a dimension in relation to KYC re
- quests.Preferred: some experience in a multinational group, handling corporate matters and registrations for subsididaries, as well as KYC re
- quests.Languages: Fluent spoken and written English and French, knowledge of more languages would be an
- asset.Knowledge of Office common tools (Word, excel, powerpoint) as well as Le
gisway.
