Position description:
The Mall Manager is responsible for delivering profitable and sustainable mall operations in alignment with Management’s directives and revenue expectations.
This role drives the continuous enhancement of the mall’s physical value by developing and executing strategies that create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment, encouraging customers to regularly patronize mall offerings.
The incumbent will consistently implement policies, guidelines, and procedures across all areas in accordance with company standards, government regulations, and statutory requirements, supporting the objective of maximizing shareholder value and sustaining industry leadership in retail.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads the overall operations of the mall to achieve sustained profitability and operational efficiency through effective income generation and cost management strategies.
- Oversees property management initiatives to maintain and enhance the mall’s value, ensuring all facilities, utilities, and amenities are well-maintained and compliant with safety standards.
- Manages tenant relations and lease operations to achieve high occupancy rates, strengthen partnerships, and support tenant success and satisfaction.
- Ensures full compliance with internal policies, government regulations, and environmental standards through accurate reporting, documentation, and operational alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develops and empowers mall teams through strong leadership, continuous performance management, and talent development to sustain high operational standards and employee engagement.
Requirements:
- With minimum of five years of managerial experience in the field of Property Management or Building Administration.
- Bachelor's degree holder.
- Excellent Leadership and entrepreneurial qualities.
- Excellent technical and communication skills; and, strong analytical, inter-personal and presentation skills.
