IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
You will lead and oversee all NOC Back Office functions to ensure uninterrupted network operations, data accuracy, and robust performance visibility across all domains. In this role, you will ensure end-to-end system monitoring, centralized configuration management, and OSS data integrity, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors to maintain optimal network availability, performance, and compliance. Additionally, you will drive proactive network analysis, continuous improvement planning, and project execution to enhance network efficiency and elevate the customer experience.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:
- Leverage a deep technical understanding of Optical Transport Networks, DWDM, OTN, PTN, SDH, and related telecom transmission technologies to oversee network health.
- Apply robust knowledge of network architecture, design principles, and transport topologies to optimize transport networks and improve resiliency.
- Lead all routine and specialized NOC Back Office activities to ensure uninterrupted network operations, system stability, and compliance with established SOPs and SLAs.
- Proactively monitor network performance across Core, Transmission, and IP domains to ensure early identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of emerging issues.
- Provide in-depth network analysis, conduct comprehensive root cause analyses (RCAs), and recommend remedial measures for continuous infrastructure improvement.
- Deliver accurate, real-time visibility and authentic reporting of network complaints, alarms, and performance indicators to executive management.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Qualification
- Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 4 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in telecom network operations, transport infrastructure, or technology strategy.
Technical Competency:
- Deep expertise in Optical Transport Networks (DWDM, OTN, PTN, SDH) and related telecom transmission technologies.
- Proficiency with core transport protocols, including OTN, MPLS-TP, and GMPLS.
- Hands-on familiarity with multi-vendor equipment environments and technical interoperability.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct network feasibility analyses and manage service provisioning.
- Strong skills in network configuration, formal change management procedures, and deployment execution.
- Proven capability in high-level vendor coordination and technical escalation management.
- Competency in technical network documentation and operational knowledge management.
