This role is a senior client-facing consulting position focused on helping organizations design, implement, and optimize secure and compliant environments across the Microsoft ecosystem. You will work at the intersection of cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance, enabling clients to adopt Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel in a secure and scalable way. The position combines deep technical delivery with strategic advisory responsibilities, including pre-sales support and solution design. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, cloud-native security architectures. Working across multiple concurrent projects, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients while collaborating with internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery. This is a highly impactful role for someone who thrives in dynamic consulting environments and enjoys solving complex security challenges.
Accountabilities
- Lead client engagements as the primary technical expert for Microsoft security, compliance, and data protection solutions, guiding architecture, design, and implementation across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
- Design and deliver security and governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender suite, and Microsoft Sentinel, ensuring alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Advise clients on Microsoft Copilot adoption from a security and compliance perspective, including data exposure risks, governance controls, and access management strategies.
- Translate regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO standards, government regulations, internal policies) into actionable technical implementations such as DLP, classification, labeling, and records management.
- Support pre-sales activities including solution design, scoping, effort estimation, and client presentations, while contributing to repeatable offerings and best practices.
- Develop technical documentation, implementation guides, and training materials, while mentoring junior consultants and acting as a subject matter expert across engagements.
Requirements
This role requires strong hands-on experience within the Microsoft security and compliance ecosystem, combined with consulting expertise and the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders. Candidates should have deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 security capabilities, including Purview, Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Conditional Access, and identity governance. Experience in data security concepts such as classification, labeling, DLP, insider risk management, and information lifecycle governance is essential. You should be confident translating compliance requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivering advisory services in client environments. Strong consulting capabilities in requirements gathering, solution design, and stakeholder communication are expected, along with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell), technical documentation, and Microsoft certifications such as SC-400, SC-401, SC-200, or SC-300 is highly valued.
