This position combines oversight of daily operations with training programs for approximately 40 volunteer firefighters and three Chief Officers. The role requires deep knowledge of fire ground operations, training operations, and local fire legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations and training of firefighters
• Collaborate with Chief Officers to ensure effectiveness
• Maintain compliance with local government regulations
• Foster relationships with volunteer personnel
• Implement fire suppression and prevention strategies
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of fire service experience
• At least 5 years as a Company/Chief Officer
• Proven leadership and collaboration skills
• Strong understanding of fire prevention and operations
• Knowledge of local legislation and practices
