Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage reviews of policies and MPMs to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, internal standards, and best practices
  • Ensure consistency in policy structure, classification, definitions, and alignment with the Delegation of Authority (DoA)
  • Conduct implementation challenge assessments to evaluate feasibility, identify gaps between policy intent and execution, and drive issue resolution
  • Manage and maintain regulatory-to-policy mapping, identifying and remediating compliance gaps, overlaps, and risks
  • Develop and maintain policy standards, templates, taxonomy, and internal review guidelines
  • Support policy owners in developing governance frameworks and ensuring alignment with internal requirements
  • Plan and execute Policy Effectiveness Reviews and prepare reports for Executive Management and Board/Board Committees
  • Manage and coordinate policy-related submissions to Executive Management and Board/Board Committees, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Establish and oversee standards and health-check mechanisms for implementing procedures and policy-to-procedure alignment
  • Drive enhancements to governance processes, workflows, internal controls, and supporting systems/tools
  • Lead policy governance working groups and act as a central point of contact for stakeholder coordination and communication
  • Manage centralized policy repository, including version control, documentation, publication, and retirement of outdated policies
  • Oversee end-to-end policy lifecycle management, including tracking, approvals, timelines, and effective date management
  • Provide advisory support to stakeholders and address policy-related queries across the organization

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in policy and procedure development and governance
  • Solid regulatory knowledge (preferably CMA / SAMA or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated research and benchmarking capability
  • Strong governance and process management expertise
  • Effective organization, coordination, and project management skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and documentation management
