The role of Quality Control, Safety & Security Leader is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously improving quality control, safety, and security systems across the organization. This role ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements, operational standards, and best practices to protect company personnel, assets, operations, and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control
- Establish and monitor quality control frameworks to ensure service and operational excellence.
- Continuously evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality.
- Define KPIs and quality metrics; track performance and drive corrective actions.
Safety & Security Management
- Monitor and ensure the safety and security of company personnel, drivers, customers, and assets.
- Develop and enforce safety, security, fire prevention, and emergency response policies and procedures.
- Lead investigations and resolutions related to traffic safety cases that drivers are unable to handle independently.
- Inspect and supervise company drivers’ compliance with safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Coordinate and participate in resolving customer complaints and safety-related incidents.
- Implement risk assessment and mitigation strategies to prevent accidents, losses, and security breaches.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Quality Control, Safety & Security teams.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Legal, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective implementation of policies.
- Act as the key point of contact with regulatory authorities and relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports, insights, and recommendations to Global and Local Management.
Key Requirements
- Prior professional background in law enforcement, police, military, or armed forces is strongly preferred; or at least 7 years of experience working directly with police or public security forces in a professional capacity within logistics, transportation, mobility, ride‑hailing, or related service industries, with minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
- Solid understanding of law enforcement procedures, public safety operations, and regulatory environments, particularly as they relate to transportation and logistics.
- Proven ability to coordinate, communicate, and build effective working relationships with police, military, or other government security agencies.
- Experience handling incident response, security coordination, crisis management, or compliance matters, especially with involvement of law enforcement stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and reporting skills in English (and local language if required).
