Our team specializes in navigating the complex compliance requirements associated with publicly funded construction projects, including MWBE, SDVOB, Section 3, prevailing wage, workforce participation, and other federal, state, and local regulatory programs.
We are seeking a highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our growing team. This is a 100% in-office position based in White Plains, NY.
Position Summary
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports public and private construction projects by ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. This role is responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements, analyzing compliance performance, coordinating reporting activities, and maintaining audit-ready project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, working with large amounts of documentation and data, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects remain compliant. Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
Candidates with experience in regulatory compliance, public-sector construction, contract administration, procurement, government programs, compliance consulting, legal support, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Review project contracts, agency requirements, and regulatory guidelines to identify compliance obligations.
- Support compliance programs related to MWBE, SDVOB, Section 3, workforce participation, prevailing wage, and other public-sector requirements.
- Prepare, compile, and submit monthly, quarterly, and project-specific compliance reports.
- Review utilization plans, workforce reports, contractor submissions, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain compliance databases, document control systems, and audit-ready project files.
- Track project milestones, reporting deadlines, certifications, and regulatory submissions across multiple projects.
- Analyze compliance data to identify discrepancies, missing documentation, or potential compliance risks.
- Coordinate directly with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, owners, consultants, and government agencies regarding compliance requirements.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and communicate compliance expectations to project teams and external stakeholders.
- Assist with agency audits, compliance reviews, and requests for information.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and compliance metrics to support project leadership and client reporting.
- Support contract closeout activities and ongoing regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Participate in special projects and additional compliance initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Construction Management, Legal Studies, Political Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Two to five years of experience in regulatory compliance, construction administration, contract administration, project coordination, procurement, government programs, or a related analytical role.
- Experience working with government agencies, public-sector construction, infrastructure, affordable housing, or capital improvement projects is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with MWBE, SDVOB, Section 3, prevailing wage, workforce reporting, or other public-sector compliance programs is highly desirable.
- Experience reviewing contracts, regulatory requirements, and compliance documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, filtering, formulas, and reporting.
- Experience with compliance management software such as B2GNow, Elation Systems, LCPtracker, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain regulatory requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Must be comfortable working in a 100% in-office environment.
