We are seeking a reliable, proactive and motivated Schools Officer, Facilities and Grounds to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient operation and presentation of the school by providing high-quality facilities support, maintenance assistance and operational services across the school. About The Role

As the Schools Officer, Facilities and Grounds, you will support the day-to-day operations of the school by ensuring facilities, equipment and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You will work collaboratively with school staff, contractors and the broader school community to maintain a safe, functional and welcoming environment for students and staff.

Your Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

  • Assist with preparing classrooms, halls and other school spaces for activities and events.
  • Undertake general facilities and maintenance duties, including minor repairs and reporting hazards.
  • Support the upkeep of school grounds, including mowing, gardening and general grounds care.
  • Operate and maintain grounds and facilities equipment safely and in line with procedures.
  • Support school security processes, including locking and unlocking buildings.
  • Liaise with contractors, tradespersons and school staff regarding maintenance and operational needs.

Progressional roles show a salary range spanning two classifications. Appointment will be made at the level appropriate to skill and fulfilment of required criteria.
