Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Investment Model, the Senior Analyst, Investment Research & Strategy (IRS) will support the IRS team by providing research and quantitative analysis that informs systematic process and total portfolio design. Specifically, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for:
- supporting the day‑to‑day implementation of TCorp’s Total Portfolio Approach (TPA) and Competition for Capital framework;
- evolving quantitative and systematic models through rigorous investment research and analytical insight; and
- enhancing the understanding of the TPA and subsequent process enhancements.
About You
TCorp specific capabilities for a Senior Analyst within IRS comprise an important combination of communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. A candidate with experience in constructing diversified portfolios, with a bias toward quantitative and systematic processes, and, analytical capability working with large dataset, data manipulation to infer observations and gain insights would be well suited to this opportunity.
In Addition, a Candidate Must Demonstrate
- a minimum of three to five years’ experience in investment management, asset management, asset consulting or an asset owner environment;
- strong quantitative and data analysis skills;
- experience applying risk and quantitative analysis to multi‑asset portfolios;
- advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with statistical or programming tools (e.g. Python);
- tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, statistics or econometrics;
- strong communication and relationship management skills; and
- the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
