POSITION SUMMARY
To define, develop and provide information and analysis to drive the decision-making process and support business operations for internal and external customers. Note: This family is intended to include jobs requiring business expertise rather than IT expertise. Provides consultation on the design, testing and enhancement of data system including technical assistance and product development support to external and internal customers. Researches, manipulates and prepares complex data to document program activities and reports on its results. Provides oversight to data quality and provides feedback to various areas in order to improve service delivery and enhancement to design efforts. Develops a consultative relationship with internal/external customers.
Fundamental Components:
Analyzes complex data for trends, highlights in-depth interpretations and provides in-depth root cause analysis.
Illustrates complex information in a clear concise manner.
Provides workgroup support on projects.
Influences changes/enhancements to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and access.
Evaluates available software and data to deliver better business solutions.
Performs ongoing research, and support tasks for existing systems.
Multi-tasks to accomplish workload efficiently
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
Extensive experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data.
Healthcare background with HEDIS knowledge a plus.
Excellent analytical, verbal, problem solving and written communication skills.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
