Title: Senior Human Resources Recruiter
Company: Confidential
Location: United States
About Us
We are a staffing services technology company that helps organizations design, build, and scale digital products and engineering capabilities. Our teams deliver end-to-end software development, engineering, AI Automation, and design services, and we provide flexible staffing solutions to augment internal teams with specialized talent—quickly and reliably.
The Role
We are seeking a tenacious, results-driven Senior Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. You’ll be responsible for identifying and hiring top-tier technical talent with active security clearances to support our government and defense contracts. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of recruiting—from sourcing hard-to-find candidates to guiding them through the offer process—while collaborating with Program Managers to ensure we meet critical staffing requirements for mission-driven projects.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Identify and engage passive candidates
- Candidate Screening & Assessment: Conduct thorough phone screens to assess technical qualifications, verify clearance status, and ensure cultural fit; evaluate candidates against strict Labor Category (LCAT) requirements.
- Offer Management & Closing: Lead compensation negotiations, prepare offer letters, and handle objections to close candidates within program budget constraints; effectively communicate the "mission" and company value proposition.
- Talent Relationship Management: Build and maintain a "warm bench" of cleared talent for future contract wins; ensure a high-touch candidate experience to keep applicants engaged during lengthy security crossover processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Hiring Managers and Program Directors to understand technical requirements, refine job descriptions, and provide updates on pipeline health and time-to-fill metrics.
- Administrative & Compliance: Maintain 100% data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS); ensure all recruiting activities comply with OFCCP regulations and internal hiring policies.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on the competitive landscape of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB), salary trends for cleared talent, and competitor contract awards to inform recruiting strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of full-lifecycle technical recruiting experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation & Closing: Proven ability to close complex deals involving salary caps, sign-on bonuses, and benefits packages in a highly competitive market.
- ATS & Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS) and cleared job boards.
- Resilience & Adaptability: High energy and persistence; comfortable working in a high-volume, metrics-driven environment where priorities shift based on contract awards.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborative spirit; willing to share leads and strategies with the broader recruiting team to ensure organizational success.
Compensation & Benefits
We believe in paying top-of-market rates for top-tier talent. The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $300,000, with exact placement determined by your skills, years of experience, and interview performance.
Additional Benefits:
Equity: Competitive stock option package.
Remote Setup: Home office stipend to get your workspace set up perfectly.
Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Time Off: Flexible PTO policy + Company Holidays.
Growth: Annual learning and development budget.
Retirement: 401(k) matching plan.
