As part of the Municipal, Planning and Environmental Law Group, you will assist lawyers with development applications, conduct technical analysis of policies, and engage with diverse clients. Drawing on your extensive experience in the Greater Toronto Area, your role not only includes attending committee hearings but also supporting preparation for hearings before the Ontario Land Tribunal.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit development applications under the Planning Act
• Conduct research and perform technical analysis of land use policies
• Write planning reports and develop informed opinions
• Attend uncontested committee of adjustment hearings
• Liaise with various public and private sector clients
Requirements:
• University degree in Land Use Planning
• Minimum of 5 years of planning experience
• Member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute
• Thorough knowledge of the Planning Act
• Strong communication and research skills
