Role Description This is a full-time Senior Role in Health Insurance, based in Muscat with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The role involves leading and managing health insurance portfolios, including product development, pricing, and performance monitoring to ensure sustainable growth and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include overseeing policy administration, handling complex claims issues, coordinating with underwriting and actuarial teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The position also requires building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and key partners, providing guidance on health insurance solutions, and supporting sales teams with technical expertise. The senior professional will mentor junior staff, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and provide strategic input on market trends, competitive positioning, and customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Health Insurance and Insurance knowledge, including product structures, underwriting concepts, claims processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills and Customer Service capabilities to interact effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Candidates should possess Sales and relationship management skills to support business development, negotiate terms, and drive portfolio growth.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess risk, and make informed decisions.
  • Candidates should possess leadership and team management experience, including mentoring, performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, healthcare management, or a related field; professional insurance certifications are an advantage.
  • Experience in a senior health insurance role, ideally in the GCC region, with familiarity with local market practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in standard office and insurance software systems; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
