About The Role

We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Social Media Officer to join the Corporate Communications Team. This role reports to the Corporate Communications Manager and works closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen Jo Academy’s corporate presence across digital platforms.

The Senior Social Media Officer will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s corporate social media channels, creating engaging content, supporting corporate communication initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the company’s brand identity, messaging, and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s corporate social media accounts, primarily LinkedIn and X.
  • Maintain an active, professional, and engaging presence across all assigned platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute monthly and annual social media content calendars.
  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content according to approved communication plans.
  • Translate corporate initiatives, milestones, announcements, and achievements into compelling social media content.
  • Write high-quality captions and content in both Arabic and English tailored to each platform.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify communication opportunities and content requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure alignment and support for corporate content publishing.
  • Oversee the design and development of social media assets while ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Develop creative content ideas and campaigns that enhance engagement and visibility.
  • Monitor social media conversations, comments, inquiries, and mentions, ensuring timely responses when required.
  • Track, measure, and evaluate social media performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Prepare periodic reports highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and recommendations.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging digital communication practices.
  • Maintain organized records of content calendars, published posts, creative assets, and performance reports.
  • Perform any additional relevant tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience managing corporate social media accounts.
  • Experience within a Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or Communications department is preferred.
  • Strong experience managing LinkedIn and X (Twitter) corporate accounts.
  • Excellent Arabic and English writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices, content planning, and audience engagement.
  • Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
