Role Description
This is a full-time office-based Software Officer role located in Benghazi. The Software Officer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s software systems, ensuring system security, database integrity, and smooth day-to-day operations. The role supports multiple departments by administering ERP systems, troubleshooting software issues, coordinating with external vendors, and ensuring efficient and secure access to corporate applications. The Software Officer plays a key role in maintaining operational continuity, data accuracy, and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in software development languages and frameworks, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar technologies
- Experience in database management, including SQL or other database systems
- Strong skills in technical troubleshooting, debugging, and problem resolution
- Knowledge of engineering project management software or tools is an advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
