Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced technology leader to design, build, and operate a modern digital lending and financial services platform. This role will be responsible for technology strategy, architecture, platform delivery, cloud infrastructure, regulatory integrations, cybersecurity alignment, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will lead the development and operation of customer-facing digital products, core lending systems, national digital ecosystem integrations, and enterprise technology governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Architecture & Technology Strategy
- Design and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability technology architectures.
- Define cloud infrastructure, application architecture, database strategy, and API frameworks.
- Drive architecture decisions balancing security, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Digital Platform Delivery
- Lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of digital lending and financial services platforms.
- Oversee end-to-end customer onboarding, verification, credit assessment, loan lifecycle management, repayments, and collections workflows.
- Ensure platforms support business growth and regulatory requirements.
Systems Integration
- Deliver and maintain integrations with external government, identity verification, credit bureau, payment, and digital signature ecosystems.
- Manage API integrations and third-party technology partnerships.
Security & Secure Development
- Establish and enforce Secure SDLC practices.
- Implement security testing, code review, vulnerability management, dependency scanning, and release controls.
- Collaborate with security stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory expectations.
IT Service Management & Governance
- Implement incident, problem, change, release, and configuration management processes.
- Establish technology governance frameworks and operational controls.
- Manage technology risk, documentation, and audit readiness.
Cloud, Infrastructure & Resilience
- Manage cloud infrastructure and application environments.
- Design and test disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity capabilities.
- Ensure platform reliability and availability targets are consistently achieved.
Vendor & Technology Partner Management
- Manage technology vendors, outsourcing partners, and service providers.
- Define and monitor SLAs, performance metrics, and delivery outcomes.
- Conduct due diligence and vendor risk assessments.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in technology leadership, software engineering, platform delivery, or enterprise architecture.
- Strong experience within fintech, financial services, lending, payments, banking, or regulated industries.
- Experience leading cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery.
- Experience managing technology vendors and external delivery partners.
- Proven success delivering large-scale digital transformation or platform implementation initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
- ITIL, PMP, AWS, Azure, TOGAF, or equivalent certifications.
- Experience working within regulated environments and technology compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
