STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS | INTERNATIONAL ORGANISATION | REGIONAL POLICY ENVIRONMENT | WORK LIFE BALANCE

Our Client is an established International Organisation with a strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region. With a highly multicultural and intellectually driven environment, the Organisation works closely with regional stakeholders, governments and institutional partners on matters of regional cooperation, research and engagement.

As part of an ongoing team evolution, the Organisation is seeking a Communications Lead to join its regional communications function in Singapore. The role will suit individuals who enjoy translating complex regional and institutional issues into clear, compelling and accessible narratives for diverse audiences across media, stakeholders and the broader public.

The position will contribute across a broad communications mandate, including media relations, executive communications, content development, stakeholder engagement, digital communications, publications, strategic messaging and regional outreach initiatives. Responsibilities may also include supporting senior leadership visibility, coordinating communications campaigns, managing media engagements, developing thought leadership materials, preparing speeches/talking points and helping shape the Organisation’s broader communications strategy across the region.

The successful candidate (~8 – 15 years’ experience) may come from international organisations, public affairs, policy communications, financial institutions, journalism, government agencies, corporate communications or strategic media environments. Experience engaging with complex policy, economic, financial or geopolitical subject matter will be viewed favourably.

The environment will suit individuals who are intellectually curious, globally minded and comfortable operating within lean, high-performing and collaborative teams. Strong writing capability, stakeholder management skills and the ability to simplify sophisticated subject matter into impactful communications will be important for success in the role.

As it is typical with International Organisations, this is a permanent employment structured as a 12 month term to start before being rebased on a permanent contract basis.

This position is applicable to Singaporeans & PRs.
