Role Description

The Sudan Ambassador is a remote volunteer role focused on representing Hackhalt Consultancy Services within Sudan and supporting its mission against cybercrime. In this role, the ambassador will promote Hackhalt’s programs, training, and initiatives to local communities, organizations, and institutions, helping raise awareness about cyber threats and digital safety. Day-to-day responsibilities include networking with key stakeholders, sharing educational materials, coordinating virtual events or workshops, and supporting outreach campaigns tailored to the Sudanese context. The ambassador will gather feedback from local audiences, share insights on regional cyber challenges, and collaborate with Hackhalt’s global team to adapt resources and strategies. This role offers an opportunity to build local partnerships, strengthen digital literacy, and contribute to a safer online environment across Sudan.

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity, digital literacy, and online safety, with a willingness to learn and promote best practices.
  • Experience or comfort in community outreach, advocacy, or relationship-building with local organizations, institutions, and community groups.
  • Effective communication skills in English and local languages, including the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and coordinate virtual events or awareness activities.
  • Familiarity with Sudan’s social, educational, or governmental landscape and an understanding of local digital challenges is highly beneficial.
  • Basic proficiency with online collaboration tools, social media platforms, and virtual meeting software.
  • Previous experience in volunteering, education, training, or public engagement is an advantage, but not required.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, ethical conduct, and respect for diverse communities and perspectives.
