The Talent Acquisition and Emiratization Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes while driving the organization’s Emiratization strategy. This role ensures the attraction, selection, and retention of high-quality talent, with a strong focus on increasing the employment and development of UAE Nationals in alignment with government regulations and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize various sourcing channels such as job boards, social media, recruitment agencies, and professional networks.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment records.
- Prepare job descriptions and ensure role requirements are clearly defined.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and coordinate assessment processes.
Emiratization Strategy
- Develop and implement Emiratization initiatives aligned with UAE labor laws and company targets.
- Build strong relationships with government entities (e.g., Nafis, MOHRE, Tawteen platforms).
- Identify opportunities for attracting UAE Nationals through career fairs, university partnerships, and internships.
- Monitor Emiratization quotas and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Design and support programs for the development and retention of Emirati employees.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify hiring needs and promote Emiratization goals.
- Liaise with external stakeholders including universities, training institutions, and government bodies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on recruitment metrics and Emiratization progress.
Reporting & Compliance
- Track key recruitment KPIs (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, quality of hire).
- Prepare Emiratization reports for internal review and government submissions.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with UAE labor laws and company policies.
Employee Development Support
- Assist in onboarding and integration of new hires, particularly UAE Nationals.
- Support training and development initiatives for Emirati employees.
- Contribute to succession planning and national talent development programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of Emiratization experience, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and Emiratization policies.
