Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain plant and equipment safely and efficiently within defined specifications, ensuring accurate and timely operational documentation.
- Manage the SCADA system to monitor and optimize plant performance while minimizing downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of plant equipment and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Maintain adequate spare part inventory and oversee operational documentation and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with HSE guidelines, company policies and ethical standards.
- Prepare technical specifications, bills of materials and purchase requisitions for equipment, spare parts and services.
- Obtain quotations, conduct supplier evaluations and price comparisons in line with procurement procedures.
- Coordinate with suppliers, follow up on purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Maintain procurement records and support inventory control and vendor documentation.
- Perform additional operational duties assigned by management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum one year of relevant experience in a technical or plant operations role.
- Experience in solar operations will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of plant equipment operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing procedures and inventory management will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP/SAP exposure is desirable.
- Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
