Role Purpose

Lead and manage end-to-end transition of business processes/services from client or incumbent vendor to delivery teams, ensuring seamless migration, strong governance, and successful stabilization with minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

1. Transition Planning & Execution

  • Drive transition lifecycle: Due Diligence → KT → Ramp-up → Stabilization
  • Develop and execute:
  • Transition plan & timelines
  • Knowledge Transfer (KT) strategy
  • Resource ramp-up plan
  • Ensure adherence to defined tollgate-based methodology (TG0–TG4)

2. Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and manage transition governance cadence (daily/weekly/fortnightly)
  • Own:
  • Transition status reporting
  • KPI/SLA tracking dashboards
  • RAID log (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies)
  • Ensure effective issue tracking, escalation, and closure

3. Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as key interface between:
  • Client PMO
  • Program Managers
  • Delivery Leads & SMEs
  • Drive:
  • Stakeholder alignment
  • Escalation management
  • Proactive risk mitigation

4. Knowledge Transfer (KT) Management

  • Plan and oversee:
  • KT sessions (TTT, TTC, shadow, reverse shadow)
  • Track:
  • Training completion & certification readiness
  • KT progress and effectiveness
  • Ensure readiness for go-live and stabilization

5. Resource & Ramp-up Management

  • Manage:
  • Hiring & onboarding progress
  • FTE ramp-up vs plan
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure capacity readiness for transition milestones

6. Risk & Issue Management

  • Maintain and govern RAID log
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate transition risks early
  • Ensure closure of critical risks before tollgate approvals

7. Transition Artefacts & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain:
  • SOPs, process maps, RACI matrix
  • Transition trackers & KT plans
  • Tollgate decks and readiness checklists
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation and compliance

Key Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Experience in BPS / shared services transitions
  • Strong project / program management capability
  • Stakeholder & client engagement skills
  • Understanding of transition lifecycle, SLA/KPI frameworks
  • Strong governance & reporting orientation

Preferred

  • Domain experience: Finance, Procurement, HRO
  • Familiarity with:
  • RAID, transition dashboards, reporting tools
  • Certifications: PMP / Prince2 / Agile
