Role Overview
The council is looking for an experienced Senior Planning Officer who can manage an independent caseload of strategic large-scale planning applications and pre‑applications proposals up to 150‑300 units.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Manage independent caseload of strategic large-scale planning applications and pre‑applications (150‑300 units).
- Work 37 hours per week, including 1 day per week in the office.
- Hourly rate approx. £50‑60 per hour.
- Local Authority planning experience.
- Experience dealing with strategic minor and major applications.
